Job Summary:
Cognizant is hiring an Intelligence Analyst (Full-Time) for its Joint Security Intelligence Center (JSIC) in Chennai, India. The role involves producing tactical and strategic intelligence reports to assess risks related to Cognizant’s global footprint, supporting security teams, and managing day-to-day intelligence operations.

Core Responsibilities:
Data Research & Analysis: Research, evaluate, integrate, and analyze all-source data to prepare and present intelligence products.
Global Monitoring: Constantly monitor global incidents to assess their impact on Cognizant’s critical assets.
Trend Identification: Discern emerging trends and threats, providing accurate insights into present and future risks.
Alert Protocols: Ensure proper alert protocols are followed and assist in emergency situations.
Crisis Management Support: Utilize tools to locate and alert during crises, supporting global security teams.
Process Evaluation: Continually assess processes and procedures, recommending improvements.
Social Media Research: Conduct research of open-source information and social media for corporate security investigations.
Human Intelligence (HUMINT): Collaborate with peers to enhance human intelligence networks.
Situational Awareness: Maintain tools to advise decision-makers effectively on current security situations.
Data Visualization: Use techniques to present intelligence findings clearly and concisely.
External Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors for specialized intelligence and operations support.
Incident Response: Contribute to the creation of playbooks and business continuity strategies.
Simulated Exercises: Participate in crisis scenarios to test security protocols.
Intelligence Repository: Maintain a repository of historical intelligence data for future analysis.
Education, Experience, and Certifications:
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s or post-graduate degree in relevant fields (Criminology, Geo-Politics, International Relations, Security Studies, etc.).
Experience:
1-3 years for Junior Intelligence Analyst; internships in corporate threat intelligence or related fields.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, infographic creation, and data visualization.
Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
Knowledge:
Awareness of global developments and potential impacts.
Work Environment:
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Shift Requirements:
Ability to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Work Model:
Chennai (Hybrid); remote options considered for candidates outside Chennai.
